Doğrukaracamurat is a village in the District of Süleymanpaşa, Tekirdağ Province, Turkey. The history of the neighborhood dates back to the Ottoman-Russian and Balkan Wars. During these wars, Turkish immigrants from Romania and Bulgaria settled in the neighborhood. The people of the neighborhood experienced great difficulties during the Greek occupation period. While the men snuck into the neighborhood from the river bed to escape the Greek soldiers, the women, the elderly, and the children remained in the village.
The exact time of the establishment of the neighborhood is unknown. However, it is known that some of the people living in the neighborhood come from the villages of Khrushva and Tentli in the Sevlievo province of Bulgaria. Sevlievo is a city located in the central part of Bulgaria. After the Ottoman-Russian war in 1877-1878, the people of Sevlievo migrated to Anatolia and Thrace, and established the villages of Banarlı, Karacamurat, Bukrova (today's Sağlamtaş Town), Bunak (today's Çınarlıdere village), Karacarehber, Kaşıkçı, Ferhadanlı, Kazandere, Büyükyoncalı and Bıyıkali in Turkey.
Mahalle is 30 km away from Süleymanpaşa, the central district of Tekirdağ. The economy of the neighborhood is based on agriculture and animal husbandry. There is no elementary school in the neighborhood and students benefit from bussing education. The neighborhood has a drinking water network but no sewage network. There is no PTT branch or agency in the neighborhood. There is no health center or health home. Access to the neighborhood is provided by an asphalt road. The neighborhood has electricity and landline telephone service. There is a grocery store and a mosque in the neighborhood. There is a cemetery towards the exit of the neighborhood.
According to the census conducted in 2019, the population of the neighborhood is 129 people.
On December 6, 2012, when Tekirdağ gained metropolitan status, all villages were transformed into neighborhoods.
